Kylie Hall

Senior Associate

Kylie holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of London and a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University. Prior to commencing at Kelly Hazell Lawyers, Kylie gained extensive litigation experience whilst working as a lawyer and a paralegal in the commercial dispute resolution team at Phillips Fox.

Kylie has experience in all aspects of commercial litigation with a significant focus on contractual disputes, trade practices, intellectual property, partnership disputes and debt recovery. Kylie was involved in the successful defence of two individuals charged with separate crimes against the Commonwealth and has extensive experience in the area of forensic document analysis. Kylie also has experience in commercial drafting and providing general advice in relation to the negotiation of contracts.

Whilst always taking a firm and committed approach to her client's legal position, Kylie is also committed to securing commercially negotiated outcomes without resorting to litigation. Kylie has experience practicing in the Federal Court of Australia and all Victorian courts. Kylie is also admitted to practice in Queensland and recently acted for clients involved in proceedings issued in the District Courts in South Australia and Western Australia.

Since being admitted to practice, Kylie has been involved in a wide range of high profile and small disputes and has acted for companies from various sectors including engineering, agribusiness, manufacturing and publishing.

With a rural property in central Victoria, Kylie has a strong personal interest in all aspects of rural law including water rights, alternative energy, grazing rights and irrigation issues. Kylie currently volunteers as a lawyer at the Moreland Community Legal Centre and is dedicated to contributing to the community by providing legal advice to the disadvantaged and people in need.
